Crysis patch problem ...

i installed crysis on my latptop and decided to update it with the patch 1.1 but during installation its states that it cant install patch until patch 1.2 is installed.... so i got 1.2 and it says the same thing ...

any ideas?

 

also it thinks that pactch 1.2 is the hotfix....

 

IIRC the crysis patches are buggy. I ended up reinstalling crysis without the patches. only difference is without the patches you still get pieces of blown up helipcopters or shacks rattling away sometimes from bad collision detection or whatever they call it these days. didn't bother me. install the natural mod instead. it's much better than any pathces for improved performance and graphics!

 

I have no idea what is occurring but I would backup your save files if you want them (you can access these by right-clicking the desktop icon and selecting saved games) and then completely uninstall the game and then re-install it. Right after the fresh install i would try to install patch 1.2 (since it contains 1.1) followed by the hotfix 1.21 if you're feeling brave (it seemed to cause my game to crash at the menu over and over).

 

Its patched, happened to a friend... load up te game, it should be the final version, dont worry

i got it working in the end, i needed a re-install (that took a while)
