OK just finished playing Crysis - but a bit annoyed . Game is great but just didnt expect it to end the way it did . I thought I was all set to go to the island hook up with prophet and deal to the squids .... and then it ends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggg![]()
At least Far Cry ended sweet , imagine it cutting off at the volcano level .
So learned people is a sequel on its way to finish of the Crysis story ????

Well there is Crysis Warhead which I think is an expansion pack coming this fall
-
it will be a while till Crysis 2 is out, but Crysis warhead is coming soon, which you play as Psycho, it wont add much new to the story, but it will reveal some stuff of what happened. maybe like " How the hell did prophet assemble that gun..?"
-
The next Crysis is already announed: Crysis Warhead and the above poster posted.... Crysis is a 3-part saga.
-
o em gee SPOILER ALERT! shoulda added it
-
Crysis Warhead isn't a sequel. It's a shorter, more action oriented side story.
-
-
Oh Crysis is a 3 part series didnt know that.
just means that the next 2 games will be more graphically demanding I suppose.
I will give warhead a go . -
I personally have high expectations for Warhead, and all the game Sequels/Prequels coming up this Year.
-
As it's been described this is a new game, with a different but parallel story, that's not a continuation or a sequel. -
I just read on a website that Crytek is saying that Warhead is a compleatly standalone game with improved AI and some new weapons and vehicles. Crysis 2 being developed will depend on the market performance of Warhead. Also it saod that Warhead maybe Cryteks last PC exclusive game.
-
bah, i said its an expansion cause everyone in here convinced me it is, while i said its standalone. ohwell. my bad
-
It will be kind of interesting to see what Crytek does on the console front.
-
Just a quote from PC Gamer, but it's not my opinion -
Another quote: "I don't want to talk about crysis 2- in may come, it may not- but [its development] will depend greatly on warhead's sucess" Cevat Yerli in an interview with a guy at PC Gamer -
the game will also run a lot better on older hardware and be better optimized, thats what they said at the E3 2008 interview

Looks like they learned there lesson in Crysis being too demanding.
But it is a pretty game, I finally got it all running great today with the new 8.7 Catalyst drivers and patching the game to 1.2.
No more artifacts! I only had the "object pop" issue and I googled that and found it to be fixable by turning object quality to very high. -

From what I've read, Crysis Warhead has been tuned to work well on lesser hardware because of the customer complaints. Thank goodness. I think it's great to have a game that pushes the limits, but don't isolate yourself from 90% of the gaming public.
-
well, if it ran all high 1280x720 on a 8600gt, its gonna be a best seller.

I still haven't beat Crysis. I can't get past the part where you enter the zero gravity cavern. I can't figure it out it's so disorientating.
-
Makes the game so realistic, you'd swear you were there. -
-
Crysis sequel ???? - Crysis 2 ???
