    Crysis warhead running slow help plz

    Alright so i just got my Alienware M17x after ordering it on june 6th and i installed crysis warhead and its just running horribly slow, my processor is the Q9000 4gb's of ddr3 ram at 1333mhz and 2 nvidia geforce gtx 260m sli'd, and on the first level even just the first cutscene my fps is horrible it runs so slow when it should be fast... anyone know what the problem could be? Vista 64bit btw
    Edit: And its on gamer btw and it still lags and my monitor is the WUXGA 1920-1200 res

    What resolution are you playing at? Also, are you using any AA with the game? You have good specs but Crysis still is very demanding. Make sure you are running on full speed and not battery settings, and that you have the best drivers for your video cards.

    Finally, check out special configs for crysis, which will help you run the game much better without sacrificing visual quality.

    Uh... Try patching the game. That fixed my problem with the old crysis o_O

    make sure the power options are set at high performance.

    Lower your resolution. Then lower some settings if necessary. And no AA. Even a desktop GTX 260 can barely average 25fps on all Enthusiast at WSXGA+.
