So I am thinking about pre-ordering Crysis off of Newegg but I would like to get your opinion on the game.

Do you think it's just eye-candy or is it a game that's actually going to be worth playing.

I've viewed many videos on it, and I have to say, I myself plan on getting the game.

Single Player maybe, possibly not anything revolutionary. It seems multiplayer should be great though. The mode that allows each team to have its own factory and the overall system of earning points and deciding what weapons to buy and medkits and such seem fun. Plus they spent a long long time balancing both the vehicles and weapons to ensure nothing is too powerful. Overall I am going to wait for reviews but it seems the multi player is the main reason I will buy it if I do buy it.

So far, it seems pretty good. I'm interested in the story board. Bioshock is a freaky game, looks good though, but not my type.

I'll be all over it when it comes out. I am not going to pre-order it though, I don't imagine it will sell out or anything.

well considering how awesome far cry is (which if you haven't played, i suggest you try it out because to this day it is still awesome)... i believe that crytek will make another stunner with crysis. far cry is just plain fun, and if thats any sign for the future, i am definitely going to buy crysis.

FarCry is one of my favorite shooters of all time! :) I am also excited for Crysis because it seems similar to FarCry.

The only reason why someone would buy a Directx 10 mobile card is for this game. It's going to be great. It is already going to change the future of gaming because it introduces a lot new things to the gaming world. All the graphical technologies, and the very accurate physics on most (if not all) objects. I can already imagine the games after Crysis constantly being compared to it, because it just sets a new standard.
    Ok... that's enough from me...

I think it will be a darn good game, but not the best ever... I think bioshock will be better based on the reviews for it. but yay, i think it will be worth the play.

32 vs 0. I think the poll results say enough on their own. Crysis is gonna rule! Lets just hope EA dont leave their traditional stink on the game...

Isn't there a EA logo on the box art for Crysis? But its good news to hear that EA is not directly in charge of producing the game. :p

EA more or less just wanted to buy in to put their name on the box so people will think they had some input on it. Crytek are the true artists of the game, whereas EA just wanted to ride along with the glory of the game.

Crysis is gonna rule! I dunno about you guys, but despite how great Bioshock looks, the whole theme of the game kinda bothers me. I can't get myself into any of the overly "monstrous" games like UT, Quake, Doom, Bioshock, because they look like they jumped out of a horror movie. I prefer things like CS:S, DoD:S, Battlefield, and...CRYSIS. I know there are aliens and whatnot, but at least I'm not wandering in the darkness 24/7.

    Yay stamp for me.

Let me put it to you like this: I built my 1st desktop at ~$1700 to play this game.

If this game isn't awesome, EA is dead to me.

I'm excited but doubtful it will even play on my machine and I have nowhere to put a desktop so...I'm cautiously optimistic.

The real winner for me would be a better AI. Shooting trees and shiny graphics are nice but without a decent AI, a fantastic storyline, or amazing multiplayer I ignore games. I'm excited about Bioshock because it has an atmosphere all to itself and it will run beautifully on my laptop. Crysis...it could turn into the next "OMG, sweet graphics" FPS with nothing truly new about it.

The AI in Crysis is incredible. 'Nuff said about that.

Here's the thing: If Crysis rocks, people will go "Crytek did a great job on this game!" If it sucks, EA takes the blame. As usual. xD
