    Hello!

Does anyone think that the current high-end 15.4" MacBook Pro is, first of all future proof, and secondly, good enough to play any of today's demanding games as well as future titles like UT 2007!
I know that the new Macs let you install Windows on them. Does that help?

There was a game recently released called 'RoboBlitz'. It uses the new Unreal Engine 3, which UT 2007 is based around.
Here are the specs for that game:

I myself am hoping to be able to play the game, when it hits the stores.
Still have to get the MacBook Pro first!

If anyone does have Windows installed on a current MBP, maybe they could try it out, and see how it runs?.....
    Has anyone else tried it?
Do you think the MBP is good enough?

    Broken link.

The x1600 is a decent card, read more about it in the GPU Guide.

Well future games running DX9 and Shader Model 3.0 should run decently on medium-high settings. Although as newer games come out with improved graphics and in DX10 it will begin to lose some performance.

With the X1600 you should be safe for the next year or so...

The X1600 should be fine for a while, but remember that it is woefully underclocked, so the video card comparison charts won't display its position accurately.

The newer C2D MBP are not as crippled as the CD MBP. It is either at regular clock speeds or slightly lower.
