This week I plan to pull out the credit card and get the DELL E1505 and I see two high end graphics cards that I can order but whose price differ by $20. See below

256 MB NVidia GEForce Go 7300 TurboCache (add $84)
    256 MB ATI x1400 HyperMemory (add $64)

Can someone who has good experience and knowledge of this guide me as to which one would work best for gaming. I play the following religiously:

    BF2
    Half Life 2
    Call of Duty
    Mdeal of Honor
    Need for Speed

    Thanks so much

The X1400 is the better card out the two, however, its not the best gaming card. What i recommend, if games are important to you, is that you look at some other laptops, with either an Nvidia 7600 or ATI X1600 card. Those are very good at games, and will serve you for what you want to play.

    I was intrigued by your title x1600 in a e 1505 until I realize it's not it!

But in response to you inquiry: X1400 over 7300

Do you need to play those games on high settings? If not, then the x1400 would be fine.
