    hey guys, i wanna play DOTA in GARENA online but i dont know whats the 1st thing to download or to install...!

    what will i download??? and where can i find those site / link???

    Well, if you can browse the internet, then you can do this.

    Its like 1-2-3:
    1) download ggclient at http://www.garena.com/portal/
    2) install, register,
    3) join a room. Click on the Start Game button, go to LAN (in Warcraft3) and wait for someone to host a game or host one yourself.

    Pretty simple?

    The most DOTA players are at War3 RPG section, not the normal one.
    Btw, you need patch 1.24c bcoz its the most common atm and dota map v6.64.

    The most important part is that you kinda need to have WC3 installed... I don't think the OP has it...

    if u are a beginer in this game u should consider playing on eurobattle 1st until u get some decent skills, most of the players on garena, at least on europe/ro ones are pretty pro, so you will most likely screw a lot of games, while on eurobattle you can join some noob games to practice
    if u arent a noob then hf

    i'm an old DOTA player, but im only renting in some shop that time... but now i have my own laptop...
    "patch 1.24c" is this??? version of what???

    you mean before i install garena i must have this WC3???
    is this the frozen throne???

    WC 3 is so cheap right now ...you can just buy it below $10 ... if you live Philippines why not just go out there in the computer shops and buy a copy that they have. I am sure there is plenty .

    You can download Warcraft 3 and the expansion pack WC3 - The Frozen Throne legally from Battle.net.
    Just need to create a free account first.
    Either buy it there or register with a valid cd key to recieve access to the digital download.

    Works great, and i already registered Starcraft there too. :)

    This... is pretty nub like. I suggest you go look up league of legend and stay off of dota. You're gonna be wasting 9 other people's time every time you play.

    download and install Garena.
    Make an account and login (usually to server 1)
    At the side bar pick War3 RPG
    Click settings (top bar)
    Find War3 RPG in the settings box (at the left side)
    Browse to find the FrozenThrone.exe
    OK
    Go select country and room, play.

    garena is not for u, just like sujinge said, ur gonna waste people's time, google eurobattle or go directly to www.eurobattle.net and get their installer. Its a similar way of playing on official blizzard's battlenet, but for free, you can find there various dota rooms for begginers (i.e. 5v5 arso noobs only, etc), as well as other rpg-type maps, from noobs to pros and experts.
