When I open Test Drive Unlimited, it loads normally but after the advertisement screen, it readjusts itself and fails there. It will just keep going from windowed mode to full screen to maximized. Anyone got an idea or fix for this?

It may not be the drivers. Ive had the exact same problem before. Just try this and see what happens. ;)

    See HERE.

Download the program and remove the file with the program. ;)

Didn't work, the radial.cdb file isn't the problem, thats normally for when the game freezes when exiting safe houses. This is right after the atari and eden games screen where it adjusts the resolution.

Oh. Well, i had the same problem, when it tries to ajust the res, and that worked for me.

Make sure that you are trying to run the game in a resolution supported on your computer.

It runs fine with the stock drivers, so I know its supported. One question though, its a weird resolution like 1136 x ????, could that be the problem?

Is that the resolution your screen is at? or the res you are trying to play the game at?

Thats the one I am trying to play the game at, I installed other drivers and was going to change the resolution to 1024x780 or something, but the server is down.

Hmm, try going to the nVidia Control Panel and changing the reolution to a custom res of that one that you are trying to play the game at. Then start the game. See if it works. If it does, change the game settings to a regular resolution. (like: 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x768, 1440x900, etc. etc.)

Sorry if i misunderstood, but what does a server have to do with changing the res?

Problem fixed, it was the res it was set at. I needed the server because it was an online account and it makes you log in to change anything.

Installed 180.60 drivers, waited till servers got back on line, logged in, set res to 1024x760. Logged out, installed DOX 180.84 drivers, started game and viola.
