I did not think that they will come this fast.

Hope it solved the issues with the 182.46

Has anyone found this to solve the Crysis and FC2 issues of the last driver? I just ordered FC2 and wanted to make sure I could play it when I got it.

SO just to note my Far cry 2 issues with 182.46 were the cause of my not using driver sweeper in safe mode between 182.05 and 182.46. I think also I was the only one that reported any issues with Far Cry 2. I can tell you I ran the benchmark tool in FC2 through the short and long runs on this new driver and it runs perfectly. I lost about 1-2 fps over all, buts its no big deal as I like to have the latest driver for the most bug fixes and optimizations in all the new games.

I haven't tried anything else yet, but its bed time so g'night!

I just like using Nvidia official 181.XX. When I use it just increases my GPU temp way high. With Nvidia, idle is 53 degrees and with Dox its 69-75 idle. Although there is a performance increase with DOX but...

What were you OC'd at Johnny? I got 9696 with 650/925/1650. As far as I'm concerned, temps, smoothness, quality, performance, these are the best drivers I have ever used. I don't have Blu-ray so that is no issue...I assume like all others, Blu-ray doesn't work with these drivers.

Just to note I only got temp increases with the last set of DOX because I did not clean install the driver. After I went through the processes of driversweeper in safemode after uninstalling the driver all my temps went back to normal. There are files and settings from the previous drivers that conflict with the 2 latest DOX sets so make sure to install them correctly to avoid unneeded problems.

like I said in my last release notes for 182.46 to fully clean uninstall.
I dont ask people to do it for the sake of it!

How is the performance increase from 182.46? I'm really liking 182.46; is the performance difference noticeable?

    From 182.46 to 185.68:

3dMark: virtually identical (gained 19 points)

Crysis Warhead @1366x768 on CCC Lvl 4: 89C max temp, more stable than 182.46

    Fraps readings -

    Mix/Max/Avg
    9 41 32.567
    26 46 31.683
    22 34 28.067

The 9 minimum was during an autosave, so that's an anomaly that doesn't represent how stable the framerate is.

Overall, I much prefer 185.68, I will test more later.

I had to go back to an older (Dox) driver unfortunately.

I use MS Flight Simulator X quite a lot, which has very temperamental anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering (that is, it often reverts to no AA and AF even when you select it). This driver seems to lock out the 'override application settings' for anti-aliasing in the Nvidia Control Panel, which was the final workaround if the in-game settings weren't playing ball.

I had to roll back as well. As far as performance I lost some FPS, but everything ran smooth and looked beautiful. But I would have issues where I would get lines of static across my screen, and the driver would fail to respond and lock up my system, requiring me to reboot.

i'm having trouble with this driver a little bit...

though it could be networking issues (my old router crapped out/ sucked [WRT160N... DONT BUY IT EVER!], and my internet still get's spikes with the new router.

    my problem:

while in game (error mainly occurs in Counter-Strike 1.6) and i go to switch tab out of the game (i play in windowed mode though) to chat on aim or whatnot, the computer freezes. sometimes, i feel it could be a lag spike that caused an initial hang, and then alt+tabbing crashed something else, but, i get a BSOD with the nvidia4.cpl (i think that's the file) throwing the error.

DOX, any knowledge as to what the problem could be? i cleaned installed this last night, and it was working fine except tabbing out of 3D applications threw issues.

I went back to 182.05 as I got my very first BSOD on my laptop with them just trying to boot up and it completely killed Fallout 3 for me and I lost a couple fps in Far Cry 2.

    :(
