    Hey guys, I'm planning to play Skyrim but I don't have a fast internet connection. When I buy the DVD copy, Do I have to download anything?

    You'll have to download the patches to resolve some glitches in the game.

    So far the patches have been small for Baka ._. Maybe about a hundred MB or less

    Ok my connection can manage that.

    Just to be clear here, I buy the DVD then install it. All the needed files will be in the DVD except for the patches. No need to download any files that are more than 1 GB, right?

    Nope the DVDs will install the game to steam for you then steam will auto update the game with the patches, their around 400mb in total I think.
