Did you try reinstalling Direct X off of microsoft's website? Have you tried going to ati.com and downloading the latest drivers from them?
-
Yes and Yes the thing is the mac use a different card then for a pc (apple ripping of it's costumers
), so it wont work you have to use drivers made specially for windows on a mac which they never update.

I need help here!

Are you sure about the specific drivers thing? Have you tried installing different ones? Do they just not allow them to install?
I run my macbook pro in bootcamp Vista, I use modded Nvidia drivers and not the stock Apple drivers.
If the ATI drivers wont load, try Omega drivers!

i have tried new drivers but i will try again.
Edit: ati did not work now i will try the Omega Drivers
Edit2:the Omega drivers work put DX9 still is messed up -
how can uninstall DX9 so i can reinstall it.
-
You should be able to locate a DirectX folder in your default install directory. Located in that folder, will be an "uninstall.exe" that will remove any form of DirectX 9 off your system, allowing you to re-install.
-
where does it install at?
-
I do not believe it is possible to uninstall DirectX from windows. All you can do is install a newer version of DirectX, which overwrites the appropriate parts of your older installations.
You already downloaded http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&DisplayLang=en
so, in that case, considering you have now tried that file, the Apple supplied ATI driver, and an Omega ATI driver I can only assume something is just broken with your windows installation or a piece of your hardware is faulty. It is also possible this is a documented issue with iMac, and you might find more information about it on apple's support site or a more mac-centric site like macrumors. -
ok i think i will do a wipe and reinstall windows
DX9- Somethings wrong
