Anyone interested in this game? Seems like its receiving pretty bad review from eurogamer. I know that's an review for the console version but they are criticizing the gameplay mechanics itself which I think is basically the same with PC.

I'm a sucker for third person shooter but I would like to hear what you guys think.

The game looks like it's using the same engine GOW is using.

Yes it is using Unreal Engine 3, the gameplay is a mix between Gears of War and Prince of Persia. So far all the review I've seen is bad... sure make me give up before even trying out the game...

gotta love these Unreal Engine 3 games... usually looks good on almost any current mid-range to high-end gaming rig.

The Unreal 3 engine in my opinion is the best engine out there. Amazing graphics, physics and general engine architecture and it runs on any computer with half decent hardware while looking fantastic. I'm just so bummed out that UT3 didn't do so well...

UT3 is fun still with new mods like "The Haunting"... turning it into Left4Dead and other zombie shooters :)

That game, damnation looks terrible from that video. I don't know what they did, but that's the worst looking game I've seen using the unreal 3 engine, many of the things like the paper grass doesn't have lighting cast on it. And I know that's the console version, but it looks like it running 10fps in most areas, and there's a huge amount of framerate fluctuation going on. Which shows me if they couldn't even optimize it for consoles, I doubt they would for pc. Gameplay wise, it looks more like a simple action shooting game with bad AI and generic gameplay elements.

Well... another disappointment for me, why wont people make good third person games? Be it shooter or not...
