And what would be the best forceware for my GPU?

AA should really be killing an IGP.
I'm going to assume you tried disabeling AA via the in game options and it doesn't work. You can also try it via the game's console. Some drivers allow you to disable AA on all games through the drivers.
If this doesn't work you can always try updating drivers, patching the game or just reinstalling it. -
Well Dark Crusade doesnt actually have an AA option, the only way I know how to control it is through the nVidia control panel and 'Manage 3D settings' however it is 'off' in that area, as well as in the program settings tab in Manage 3D settings.
It ran really well before AA and now it even lags at the Main Menu I didnt even turn it on myself which I thinks really weird, anyone else had a problem like this? -
Download Rivatuner and force the Quincunx antialiasing...it's the old 2xQ Nvidia Antialias that is removed with new driver. It provides a 4x antialias with the cost of a 2x
don't understand why nvidia has toggle its activation with newer drivers
-
My laptop wont be able to handle any AA really, and its only with Dark Crusade I have this problem, my other games work fine.
I unistalled then re-installed and it's still got AA, it's 4x or 8x by the look of it -
I doubt your 7150M would survive 8x AA.
Pretty stupid if Nvidia programmed drivers to do this by themselves. Only high midrange to high end cards can get away with AA.
I agree with metaldeath. You must try to solve this with rivatuner or through the drivers. -
Check your game-specific profile in the NVidia control panel. The profile for Dark Crusade might have antialiasing enabled (if so, disable it)
-
yeah dark crusade looks like it has AA enabled half the time, but its not. Its the nature of the game, it focuses more on views and angles over graphics and detail. but if your frame rates are plummeting i have no idea.... clean install?
-
Nah, its a real pain in the a**, because when I first installed it and played it ran at near full detail nicely. Then today, bam about 10 fps and I see a lot less jaggies.
I've gone into the game specific profile and AA is off in that section.
I tried uninstall reinstall, no joy.
I'm definant AA is on because it blurs the text up a lot.
I wouldnt know how to get RivaTuner to work like that either -
I found another way to change anti-aliasing but yet again it was already set to 0 (OFF) in the W40K.ini file.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
I can still play other RTS's like LOTR:BFME fine, no lag at full detail 1440x900 (I know its a lot less graphically demanding). -
If it blurs the text, then it doesn't sound like AA to me. Might be some other weird setting, or of course, just a driver bug or something. Tried reinstalling drivers?
-
Well on my old computer I has the same problem and it was AA in that instance, I'll try sorting the drivers out.
Thanks for all the help so far -
just the game it self is set for WS. the icons in game and the map menu and such are set on non-wide screen -
Thats odd, the text used to be crisp and sharp. Its in the right res, 1440x900.
And I am sure it didnt have such rubbish FPS
Heres 2 screen shots, the text is blurred a bit and the tau dude has been AAed, I'm sure. These are PNG images so what you see is what youd see in game.

Installed all patches, now I've uninstalled, deleted all DC related files, restarted and reinstalling, download all the patches, if this doent work, I don't know what to do, thanks so far.
EDIT: Failed :'(
EDIT EDIT: I am going to try some drivers on LV2G later, I'll see if they sort this thing out
