Quick question:

I used to be able to play DoW II with no issues. Then, recently, there was a game patch - and now the game says my graphics card driver is outdated and not supported...

...I've got the most recent driver, verified on the Aienware site (Ive got the ATI Mobility Radeon 3870, currently using the 8.57 driver off of the alienware site for 64 bit applications...

Anyone else have any issues with the latest patch, or any suggestions?

Kind of a bummer - I was planning on going back and playng some DoW II before picking up the Chaos Rising expansion - so I'd really like to figure this out. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hmm I've been playing it but on my M11x which is nvidia's drivers so I can't say anything regarding out of date drivers.. No issues with the latest patch, love the games, beat the vanilla last month and bought Chaos rising but haven't gotten around to playing much of it. Love the RTS/RPG.

i dont think its the patch per se. ive been playing it a lot since dow 2 and chaos rising came out. its my fav game.
are you using the new alpha/beta mobile catalyst drivers? it could be this.
ati is also the 'preferred' graphics card of the game, as shown by its sponsorhip ad during the game intro.
