Well this is interesting. I decided to give Dead Space another try now that 2 is out, and I've got weirdness happening. Everything looks like this:

I have to play with the resolution and use it in windowed mode to get any textures at all. It'll look normal if I run it windowed at 1920x1080 and sometimes 1920x1200 if I'm lucky.

Maybe you have special edition of Dead Space with BACKSTAGE? :D
Try to install Dxwebsetup and update Dx and graphic card drivers

Fixed it I think. Tried to play Dead Space 2 and it was laggy as hell, so I tried updating to 11.1 mobility drivers. Even after doing the previous driver removal process, the 11.1 installer crashed the heck out of my computer causing a blue screen on boot every time. Had to clean drivers out again in safe mode to fix it. Kept trying various methods to get 11.1 on there, and they just would not work. Reverted back to the Dell drivers for my cards, and voila, Dead Space 1 and 2 working right. Same drivers I already had. O well,...

Glad to see you worked it out. I had a similar problem when thinkering with getting AA working. Looked exactly the same as your screenshot.
What i was doing was renaming exe to darksiderspc.exe, then setting aa in ccc) It happened on older drivers but doesn't seem to be doing it on 11.1. I "managed" to get aa working (didn't see an iq boost but performance loss was apparent) when setting it to SSAA via CCC.
