    So...

Dead Space 3 anyone? Didn't see a thread in gaming, so why not make one?

Total Biscuit has a pretty good vid introduction.

So far I've just completed the first couple of chapters. Pretty fun, combat can be pretty brutal. Its not obvious how to kill the different necromorphs, for example taking off heads (instinctive in first person shooters, right?) doesn't result in kills, but shooting off limbs does more damage.

    Very interesting weapons too!

Regarding optimization - its pretty well done. My desktop (i5-2500k, gt 660) breezes through it. Even my ye olde Acer laptop (first gen i5, 5650) manages a fairly constant 60 fps on medium/high details (i think I just put shaders at high) at 1366x768 (kinda surprising).

Not particularly scary, I played the originals on XBOX and they were pretty scary. Seems like every 3rd game in such series lose the horror factor (FEAR 3 anyone?).

Wasn't expecting much, but it has been pleasantly surprising so far.

    Anyone else get this?

It was always best to take off limbs on the first 2 games. I have not beat the 2nd one yet but do look forward to the 3rd one. Should beat the 2nd one first prob and wait for this one to go on sale.

    U wanna know something..?

I just played and finished Deadspace 2 instead of deadspace 3.
Very scary and more intense than Deadspace 3. Deadspace 3 continues off the saga where Deadspace 2 finished with a more detailed graphics engine but the suspense and scary factor is gone.

All in all not bad games but not the best either. IGn review spot on for both.

So me and Zymphad have completed a fair amount of the game already and i must say the game is very good. Its not as "scary" compared to the older titles but coop makes up for it, and the added coop only missions adds to the game.
Personally i love to experiment with the gun crafting part, my favourite gun at the moment is a nail gun with a revolver underbarrel attachment.

Here is the playlist for my videos, and while its not exacly PC super high resolution textures it still looks nice.

WoW 150$ for only 3 games? I payed for this 3 only around 85$ and that's because I spend to much on Dead Space 3, 50$ instead of only 35$. So 70$ would have been ideally. :D

I won't get DS 3 until I play my DS 1 & 2. Bought them both each for $5 but never even started them. Just started Borderlands 1 to see what the fuss is about this game and I discovered it's pretty good. So I should have bought Borderlands 2 for $19 when it was on sale 5 days ago but I guess I'll wait until it's on sale again at $19 or below or if a GOTY edition comes out.

Maybe games are cheaper in Germany? lol not here, though. I paid 60 for Crysis, 45 for Tomb Raider and 41 for Dead Space. Freaking expensive, but I haven't played any new games in a while.

From where I buy games Crysis 3 costs 39 bucks,DS3: 43 and Tomb Raider: 35. Looks like games are cheaper here in Europe. :D
Also all 3 have some special gift like DLC's or a steel box.

We normally get games a few days earlier, too. I hardly ever buy games on release day, so that doesn't matter much to me though :p

Killer deal man. Crysis 3 is on sale for $40 on Origin right now, less than a week after I bought it for 60 lol.

That's only true for a few games. Most of the time we get it on the exact same day. Back when I bought bf3 I had it 4 days before the launch date. Couldn't activate it till than though. :p
