    The Escapist : News : Visceral Defends Dead Space 3 DLC

    I've been enjoying DS3 co-op so far. Almost finished and was happy to hear that there will be more content. If it's not 30 minutes of extra gameplay for $15, I'll buy it. I expect at least a few hours, I hope. With this game I'm willing to pay for more co-op fun. But... I don't believe that Visceral is telling the truth and probably should have been included. They should have released another DLC maybe 3-6 months later with additional 5 hours of gameplay IMO for the $15 they will charge. I'd also like HD texture pack, the textures are poor for PC platform.

    I was happy to see it wasn't a completely barebones pc port, but they still could have done so much more in the graphics dept. It runs at 200-400fps maxed out on my laptop... pretty sure even my M11x could max it out, and it's weak even by 2010 standards lol.

    I hardly ever buy EA's DLC unless it's part of a GOTY package or something. It just seems like such an obvious cash grab on their part. At least it's campaign DLC though, and not some map pack BS.

    Yup, if it has co-op I'm more willing to pay. Currently my favorite game mode for any game.

    Dead Space 3 DLC Awakening is out today on PC, 360 and PS3 for $9.99. I'll be buying it, almost finished with campaign and will begin the co-op on the DLC. DLC is supposed to be the scariest yet for this IP.
