Hi I ran Dead Space for the first time the other night and it seemed to run smoothly but there are crazy colored flashes/lines all over the screen that go in every direction! This appears on the main menu, loading screen, cutscenes, everything! I've tried running it with every different setting turned on/off in the game and with CCC.

Need a solution, please help! I've been searching for an entire day and have not found another with this problem.

I checked the requirements and am confident my setup passes the minimum.

    Intel Core i7 Q720
    4GB RAM
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670
    DirectX 11

Should run fine on that system, make sure you GFX drivers are the most up to date.

Try playing around with the settings turning off things one by one and see which one makes it disappear :p

I had issues with Dead Space loading times and jagged lines. I was able to solve it by forcing V Sync on in my GPU's Control Panel ( 8800m gtx )

Nothing like those kinds of colored lines though

I've tried every setting option combination of on/off possible... v-sync doesn't help the graphics, but helps the lag. Graphic drivers are up to date. :(

Rule out GPU issues, check the idle and load temps by using HWMonitor. It is most likely a Driver problem though, maybe try older Drivers.

Are you overclocking? If so, you might want to turn it down a bit. Also, like the other poster said, check your temps. If your GPU load temps are over 90C or so, you may be overheating, if over 100C, you are absolutely overheating. I would disagree with most here, I think it sounds more like a defective or overheating GPU than a driver issue, but I'm not entirely sure.
