Debating what game next

so i just beat Fallout 3, at least one ending of it

and i must say that game is one of the best ive ever played so far

now i wanna get another game its just i dont know which one
i preferably would want some online play

this is what i have in my list so far:
1) Red Alert 3
2) COD5
3) left 4 dead
4) WOW: lich king


which one should be my next purchase
or any other recomendations?

- Don't play Red Alert 3 until you have played Company of Heroes... the online is the best on PC (RTS).

Left 4 Dead seems like the kind of game that you should wait until the price drops down, I don't think they have as much content in that game as a Crysis, or a Fallout.

I'm not big on 'world of warcraft'...

 

ive played company of heroes and i love it

 

the only game i've played or kept up with is COD5, and i liked the game.

 

1) Master are you a massive red alert fan? I hear some people are disappointed by its campy nature. I haven't played an RTS in a LONG *** time, since hmm Frozen Throne (WC3 expansion) but I'm keen to play another one so if you do pick it up let me know if its good.

I was going to suggest Dead Space if you haven't picked it up already

Those are a very wide assortment of games, I think first question is are you in the mood for an FPS, RTS, MMORPG or just anything?

 

First 3 choices look really good . L4D looks like a very addictive game with exciting gameplay . So far a lot of people said only good things about the demo . It will provide lots of fun , and hopefully they will get that matchmaking system in order .

RA3 should be fun as well . If you are into RTS`s you will have a lot of good times playing against other players online .

I am not too familiar with the CoD line but from what i`ve seen they have some pretty good games . I think their games are mostly for multiplayer game . Single player campaigns are fun but a bit short .

If you are a casual gamer i wouldnt recommend WoW:WotLK . I myself am a wow player . I think people who play this game casually miss out on a lot of content , though it is still fun to play . It takes a lot of time , especially when you are in a raiding guild and try and defeat end game dungeons .

 

Probably want to get COD5 looks amazing.

or just wait for Starcraft 2 !!

 

I am not liking CoD5 much, feels more similar to CoD2 than it does CoD4.

RA3 is brilliant though, and I haven't played any of the other Command and Conquer games. The single player storyline is just so funny.

Haven't tried out L4D yet.

Hate WoW.

 

Don't get Left 4 Dead. It is just SOOO unrealistic. More unrealistic than Far Cry 2, in my opinion.

Are you opposed to trying something older?

Edit - Must have overlooked that you played through and enjoyed Fallout 3. In that case give Left 4 Dead a shot. If you like super-unrealistic games where you can snipe someone directly in the face without them dying, you might also like L4D. Try the demo, it's pretty fun

 

Play Left 4 Dead and make up your own mind, you should be the one to say "I enjoy this game" and not let anyone else tell you what not to like.

 

None of the above; purchase Dead Space (or Mass Effect).

 

Dead Space is great - one of the best horror games ive played
its just the controls i dont like

 

ive heard alot about dead space
isnt it single player only?

ive beat mass effect like twice, fantastic game
ive been a big fan of the RA series

and i dont care if its exactly realistic just fun and preferably has multiplayer options

 

yeah only single player - heard about a posisble Co-Op mod for it not sure if its legit or not

How realistic is a arcade survival ZOMBIE shooter supposed to be ?

OT: I'd say give Deadspace and L4D a shot both fun games with enjoyable gameplay.

 

I heard cod5 was sick. Don't get lich king, you will waste too many hours on it.

Also, although already have a favored list of games to get, may I suggest some other lesser known games.

1) The Witcher - fantastic game, very deep storyline. This has been one of the most involving games I have ever played. If you liked fallout, and the story in it, you will like the mature themes and story of The Witcher

2) Mass Effect - did you know this was released for pc? Grab it!

btw, Left For Dead is amazing from what I've played.

 

so i bought COD5

and they also had crysis: warhead for $20 at Best buy so i decided to pick that up too

btw COD5 is pretty intense very action packed

and i like that

 

COD 5 is alright but reminded me way too much of COD 4 just with WW2 guns, id say L4D is a great choice, ive only played the demo but its got such a realistic gameplay and environment, and it will have a long replay value

 

b/w CoD 5 and L4D, which one would you say has the better 4 player co-op experience? at least based on the demo for L4D...

 

CoD5, I guess Or you can try Dead Space (its not much of a horror game though, but the gameplay is pretty solid)
