What kind of games do you like?
Yesterday I installed:
NFS Carbon
GTA San Andreas
CS:S
and The Godfather
But don't know much about your graphics card. - Also Hitman is one of my favorite games, as you can see... )) -
pretty much any games you think i worth taking up your time played gta already, heard the godfather was bad. ill check out CS:S and NFS (though i dont have a controller and i dont know if playing a racing gfame with a mouse and keyboard will be all that great, seeing as how ive never done it before...)
-
hitman sounds enticing as well thanks

If you're into deathmatch type games like Quake check out War§ow. It's free and based on Qfusion (a more advanced version of the Quake II engine). However, I hope you pass some free WiFi during your travels so you can actually play real people, but the bots can put up quite a challenge if wanted.
Outside of that, I'm sure you can pick up Half-Life 2 for cheap nowadays and Civilization IV just had its second expansion released and that can suck up a lot of time. -
COMAND AND CONQUER 3!!!!! Look at my sig for some more ideas, and how those games will run.
-
its been awhile since i played an rts... ill be sure to check it out thanks IIIM3

Although I'm not really a gamer (try not to play games and don't really have much time) The Godfather wasn't bad - I liked it.
I also like Zeus (pretty old game though) -
But will see... -
bump bump bump

C&C 3 made me like RTS's again. I would say, try it out. Its like 20 bucks, so not much to loose, and hell, you might even like it.
-
i have yet to play it on my notebook, but i did play it on my friends NP9260. OMG playing that game maxed out at 1920 x 1200!!! even without the DX10 eyecandy its awesome.
-
Yea, I'll definitely try it. But I've never bought a single game in my life, believe it or not. =) Time to buy one I guess (if it's an online multiplayer game)
-
Sorry, but this is bugging me: it's laptop, not the commonly said "labtop".
A great game I would get is Call of Duty 2. I can play it on my GeForce 4 Ti 4300 64mb, so it should run great. On xFire, more people play Call of Duty 2 multiplayer than BF2 multiplayer. And that's pretty sad, because BF2 is a mainly multiplayer game. -
-
If you're into strategy games, Civilization IV and Medieval Total War II are great games that will run great on that system.
-
Rome Total War - awesome real time strategy games
Oblivion- What can i say?
Vampire the Masquerade: bloodlines - most complex storyline game i have ever experienced
Fable: good single player role playing game
The Sims 2
Doom III
Farcry- very good 1st person shooter
NFL 2007
Halo 2- lol its been out for like 3 years and its now just out for PC
Half Life 2 series: WOW cant believe nobody has mentioned this one yet
Unreal Tourny 3: coming soon
Prince of Persia series
Call of Duty 2 - already been discussed but really good game
Deux Ex- old game but very good
Knights of the Old Republic: very good game- similar to Oblivion and Bloodlines
World of Warcraft/Warcraft 3
Ultimate Marvel Alliance
Command and Conquer 3
Age of Empires 3- stretegy game
Spore (not out yet)- build your own universe, starting from a single cell
Jade Empire
F.E.A.R - intense 1st person shooter
Dawn of War- really good strategy game
Guild Wars- good MMORPG
Silent Hill 2- Scariest game i have ever played, seriously... -
Stewie Griffin Notebook Consultant
