    How can I decrease or increase shared system memory in my laptop? features:vaio SZ691,2GB of RAM, Gforce 8400M GS, 64 MB dedicated memory, 767 MB shared memory.
    In BIOS i cant change that.

    You cant and you dont want to if you could, there would be no performance gains or more free system memory. The memory isnt set aside specifically for video, its only dipped into when needed, and it only uses as much as it needs, if its not needed for graphics its free to be used by applications that do need it. My desktop has a 512mb dedicated card, with 1.791 GB shared.
