Hey Guys, Need some help here..

I got this new DELL XPS 15 Laptop a few days back.
    Here is the config.

    i5, 4GB DDR3, 1080p, 500HDD and 1GB Nvidia 525m Grpahics.

Now is this graphics gud enuf to run GTA 4, or Pro Evolution Soccer..

I am having a hard time playing games with this graphic card? Or is there something wrong?

For GTA 4, the game does start but when i start playing it, i can only see the main character, i can't see the roads or anythin else in the map. Its just a blank screen with the main character moving around. I somehow managed to find a car and i had to ride in but couldn't see the roads, just plain blank.

Tried to alter the graphics in the game, but it says, graphics too low or something. shows Using 275/56mb something? :-/

In PES 11, i can run the game on low settings, but if i try to change it to medium or max, it says graphic not enuf, minimum 256mb VRAM required :-??

Btw, i tried running both the games with my Graphic card as default. :(

I tried to use the application Can You Run It? and its a Pass on everything excpet for the Video Card, they say I have Intel HD, but I kno that ive kept Nvidia as the default? Still why does it only show Intels?

Do i need to do something else to make that default or these games just wont run on a 1gb 525m NVIDIA graphic card? Any help wud be much appreciated. Thanks :)

First, dont expect any miracles off that budget Nvidia card.

What you got here is a problem with Nvidia Optimus, its a switchable gpu system that combines Intel IGP + Nvidia for increased battery life.
I do not own nor do i never plan to get a system like this, so its best to wait for a fellow Optimus user.

Well, Yeah I Assumed i wont be able to run games on High Settings but maybe Medium, but if this is whats happening with GTA 4 even in low settings, does that mean i can say goodbye to games like CRYSIS?

Try disabling the Optimus feature in your BIOS and I would say you can't play @ native res, but at like 1280x720 or less you should be able to play these games on low medium settings.
