I can't find these. I looked on nvidia's site and the faq is a generic one for both the 7300 & 7400 and it only lists the 7300's default. I want to see if mine is underclocked in my notebook. I let the overclocking tool in my driver find the "optimal" overclock for my card. It overclocked the core by 50mhz and the memory by just over 100...and my gpu still never gets over 40c even when I play Oblivion for an hour...makes me think maybe the original clocks were lower than default. If anyone can find these, I'd appreciate it.

The default memory speed should be 900mhz (but it may be displayed as 450mhz for you).

The entry for the 7400 on that chart is incorrect. My card (no overclocking) is at 450mhz Core and 900mhz VRAM, like Unreal said. What are your default speeds Winterymix?

[EDIT] I just let my system detect my optimal frequencies and I got 532mhz Core and 1.06ghz VRAM. What did you get when you did it wintery?

Also, would I be wise to trust these numbers? I know its not a large speed jump, but im sure it would definitly increase performance some.

My 7400 is running at stock and is 61c when idle....this sounds a bit high to me...

    450MHz *2 = 900MHz DDR.

Gah, NO, Double data rate ram, ie its transmits on the falling voltage edge aswell as the rising edge, where the intel quad pumping thing on motherboards transmits twice per edge and uses dual channel.

    =)
