As you can see it comfortably sits at 68c full load...

Now, shall I push higher? :)

Interesting results :) My only issue would be that is it worth overclocking more? The CPU is noticeably weak. I wonder how it would do with a regular core duo at 2.2ghz or higher.

    ^ Still going :)
I think I'll go and find the max of this card then scale back to something reasonable like 500/425 or something for 24/7.

What's considered the maximum safe temperature for these GPUs?

That low CPU clock is holding you back. Too bad you can't o/c the CPU in OEM systems (unless clockgen has support for your mobo's PLL).

I have mine at 590/490 and the temps never go above 70C but it's still a little unstable. I do a full run through 3DMark without any problems but playing a game like HL2 it usually gives me a message that the display driver recovered from an error or something after a while. But my temps are so low it seems like I should be able to do these clocks. I was thinking maybe it was because the voltage was too low, how can I higher it? I'm using ATiTool.

yes hai! same ps2cho as on all forums :)

yeh so hitting 68c full load seems very comfortable to me considering I saw my 7900GS hit 68c full load on the stock eVGA fan in a desktop...

Will continue to push higher and post in a bit.

Roswell was only able to get an overclock of 630/530 before it became unstable. You're going to hit the roof soon. I stopped at 600/515 to give the gpu some room.

Ugh. Sucks that the GDDR2 is so limited- I was kind of hoping that the GDDR2 was "underclocked" (ie, below memory module spec) but it seems like we got screwed with the quality of the GDDR2 memory modules. Eh, this card should handle everything I throw at it stock, so I'll wait till it starts to stutter before overclocking it.
