    Hi everyone!

    I need to buy a new graphic card for my laptop, i've nvidia go 7900gs with p/n: CN-0DG008
    do i need a card with exactly the same part number? or can i buy with different part number ,for example YF209 D2YT2 which i have found on ebay

    The 9400 is one of the few models that do have a modular GPU. Dell used a GPU slot at the time that was proprietary, but common among the XPS 17" and the 6400 that were built during the same time period.

    Just be careful when looking for replacements, and always ask the seller to send you pictures of the card to try and see if it matches up with what you have.

    ^Yea, I know that Dell has always had their GPU's sort of iffy with changing.
