This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dell D830 w/NVS 135M isn't DirectX capable?

    I've got the latest (only) driver from Dell, and a clean install of DX9c - but DXDIAG claims there's no hardware acceleration for DirectX or even DirectDraw! So even older games (like DiabloII) won't launch. It's an XP system. Has anyone else had this problem??
