In reference to this thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=215252

I would just like to say I know it IS possible to upgrade this card as its removable and can be easily replaced with the 8600M GS/GT available as an option on this model.

I was simply asking if it is possible to use any other cards, please do not reply if you dont know, as you may be spreading false information :)

    Many Thanks and Kind Regards.

The GPU will be dell specific anyway (interms of physically sizes), so that would make it a no, and no you can NOT buy GPUs from dell. unless you have a 17'' like sager 570ru or the D901c or the asus C90...then the chances are no you cant by yourself.

So no I am not spreading false info.

No, you bloody can't switch out a dell 1520 card. Only the XPS 1710 because the 7900GTX and 7950GTX are almost the same in size and heat. So, no you can't switch out the card. so stop arguing.
