I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 1501 and I was wondering how good the graphics card on there is. It's the ATI Express 1150 (256MB) My other option was the HP 6000z series which i could of bought with the same components except it had a NVIDIA Go7200 (256MB) option on it. I ended up going with the Dell though. Can anyone give me their opinions on this or the Laptop itself

Decent card. Miles better then the GMA in the 1300 range anyway, and you'll be able play any games from 2004< on relatively high settings. There was a thread as well, showcasing BF2142 running on the X1150, and it looked respectable.

For opinions on the laptop itself, check our Dell forum.

All modern games *should* run on that card although you may have to use less than desirable settings in some of them. I doubt Oblivion will run, same with GRAW, although those are horribly coded games, and I do not think any card should be jduged off of how they perform in those games.
