What type of performance could I expect out of titan quest with the expansion out of a Nvidia go 7400 in a small Dell M1210?

Any other small form factor laptops with better graphics yet if I can't run titan quest with everything enabled well?

I was hoping for better performance out of there XPS line. Maybe I will just wait for there next upgrade to the laptop. I have a macbook now but the GMA 950 will not load titan quest running windows :(

Dell is behind the other manufacturers/brands switching to Santa Rosa. I would imagine they would have to get them out in the next 1-2 months if they want to stay competitive. How long can you wait before purchasing?

my W3J w/ core duo 2.0/x1600 256mb/2gb ram struggled to run Titan Quest and immortal throne at max settings. it was still playable and i did in fact play through the entire campaign at max settings but slow downs were very noticeable.

C'mon now, M1210 is an ultra portable notebook, not a gaming machine. There is a limit to what you can squeeze in to such a small chassis. Actually DELL did a wonderful job putting in a Go7400 in the first place.

Anyways, there is a rumor that the M1210 is going to be refreshed with an 8400 card and Santa Rosa platform pretty soon. Even so, if you are looking for a gaming a notebook, then you have to get a bigger one. Because smaller notebooks don't come with powerful graphics cards due to heat and size.

The M1210 is too thick and heavy to be classified as an ultraportable. But, it definitely is a very small chassis and I doubt Dell could have put in a more powerful graphics card.

the small chasis is what I want. I currently have a macbook running os x and windows xp. 2ghz c2d 1GB RAM. the notebook is very quick but not for gaming since it has an integrated video card. I could definitely hold off a few months since I don't absolutely need this game.
