    Fellow gamers,
    My bro's got a paid order in for a Dell 9400 2.13ghz dual core with 2gb mem, 100gb 7200rpm, 7800go 256mb, 1920x1200 display + bluetooth etc options.

Dell cannot deliver the 7800go, check e.g. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=30592

They are now offering my brother the Precisison M90 2.13d with 1gb 667mhz memory (not available with 2gb, and 4gb costs about $15k!!) and the 2500M with 512mb, same screen and options.

I have found some info, but not really that much with real meat on it -

How will this compare with the 9400 - is it worth going for it? I.e. will it at least deliver the gaming performance of the 7800go - if required with some driver manipulation?

Also, y'reckon a 3rd party memory stick will be a possibility, e.g. to replace 1 to get 1.5gb at least?

Gaming performance is the premium interest - Anarchy Online, World of Warcraft and upcoming titles like Age of Conan (which will require lots, lots more grunt the aforementioned). We'd really appreciate your insights.

    Cheers,
    Aratahu
