    Dell M90 with FX2500 i need to flash to 7900GTX

    Dell M90 bought with FX2500 and i need to flash to the 7900GTX bios so i can overclock the video card slightly, I would really appreciate some help here on a step by step how to safely do this please.

    did u try using NVDIA system tools with the FX2500 and use a software overclock? Its way easier...

    yes its locked as is, from what all i read i need to flash my bios from the OEM a07 bios to "the 7900GTX bios" , that will enable hyperthreading on my video card and allow me to overclock it as well

    You can overclock if you use the drivers on the laptopvideotogo site.

    I didn't know GPUs had "hyperthreading", but I would expect your FX2500 to perform the same as a 7900GTX without a BIOS flash.

    They don't have hyperthreading, unless I have not seen the latest news.

    Locked frequencies can be in the drivers. He could probably try moral's idea and overclock with NVIDIA system tools.

    i have used those drivers and it remains locked, trust me im not noob.

    i overheard someone mention hyperthreading it was uneducated.

    Hyperthreading is to do with CPU's.

    It may also have something to do with the video card BIOS update that dell lists for some of their models... the frequencies maybe locked there.
