    I wan to use the Dell Precision 5510 Mobile Workstation for 3D programs, as well as for gaming. How good is it for playing steam games, and 3D simulation games?

    Will they run well?

    Is there a better laptop out there for gaming and 3D work?

    Everything would obviously have its pros and cons. What I would recommend to to find the recommended settings for your software you plan to run for 3D work, then base your build around that. Also, stick to hardware, do not fall for the flash and flare of some brands.
    For avoiding, right now it seems like there's a problem in QHD 120Hz panels (does not present in QHD 60HZ or FHD 120Hz panels)

    For gaming it is not really that good at all IMO
    (and I have the top tier config)

    Far Cry 4 medium settings using the Quadro M1000M is quite unplayable due to screen redrawing/studdering and way off inaccurate mouse movement.
