Alright, this is worrying me. I was looking at the Ntune Monitor while playing World of Warcraft and then doing the nvidia stress test and I'm getting 100 degrees while playing and 70 while idle. This seems high when I look at overclocking threads seeing that 90's are sometimes considered way too high. I want to say that the monitor isn't functioning properly because not a single bit of the laptop feels warmer than my old Inspiron 5150. If the 1310 is running at 100 degrees then my 5150 must of been 250 degrees.

So what do you all think? What should I do to see if my laptop is in danger?

Dell has many head issues with their laptops. Call their tech support,

If its an old laptop, clean it up with compressed air etc..

If Dell says its suppose to be like this (lol), undervolt your computer, buy a cooling pad.

    Good luck
