I just ordered a Dell XPS 1530M a couple days ago. Does anyone know if I am able to upgrade the graphics card from a nvidia 8600GT to something better (such as a 8800M GTX) without having to make major modifications? (such as a new motherboard)

Thanks in advance for the help!

You will not be able to unless the 1530 were to somehow be released by Dell with said card. An 8800GTX will never fit in a 15.4" frame anyway if you ask me.

Ok, well thank you anyways. I'm sure the 8600GT will still do a decent job in gaming wise.

The 8600GT will run just about anuthing even Crysis though you will have to use medium settings.

    Alienware doesn't think so.

But it will probably be able to make some grill cheese, or eggs
