    Let's start some rumors.

We all know it's coming up shortly. Last rumors I remember was it would be released some time in Oct/Nov. Engadget also posted some rumors about a display/touchpad. Other than that, what do you hope/expect to be in the new M1530 replacement?

It will likely be back lit keyboard, cpu up to 2.8 ghz, ddr3 ram at 1066mhz, and a Nvidia 9600m GT.

i don't really care too much for the hardware refresh in the xps-line. all laptop/desktop genres will have the same or similar configurations. what i'm really lookin forward to is dell's new edge to edge screens.

check this XPS out. i wonder if this design could ever be possible...or affordable. i would definitely take the plunge for somethin like this.

    Want T8100 + 2GB DDR3 + 120GB 7200 rpm + 15.4" WXGA+ and 9650GT (minimum) if not 9700GT with option of 9800.

Ummm, what are you guys talking about? Crossfire? 9650M? 9700M?...9800M? :D

Search for 'Kevin's thread in the News & Reviews section of NBR on the new XPS lineup.

The M1530 will be 16", and still had the 8600M GT from what he explained. I also, was looking forward to a 256bit gpu in the XPS, but that looks like it won't happen initially (or for a long long time).

ull have to stick with the 1730 for a 256bit gpu, or whatever its new equivalent will be, probably nothing since they are moving the xps line away from gaming. Why would u want a MBP if you want something more than a 9600 GT since thats the highest that offers? lol
