    Dell XPS gen2 Battlefield 2 question

    I have the dell xps gen 2 with a geforce 6800 go ultra I can play battlefield 2 for 10 min. no lag. then my comp. does someting and it starts lagging.

    For example, When i press a key to move foward my character will continue to move foward after i release the key HELP>!!!

    Probrably you may need to update the drivers.

    Also, it could be 3rd party programs which take your ram.

    Any specs on your comp?

    I'm not sure why you are having problems.

    I can run BF 2 for hours at a time.

    How hot is your rig getting? You may want to prop the back up with some bottle caps.

    hay i have a cooling fan and dell.com didnt have any new drivers and i already end all backround processes so any other advice?

    o and specs: 1gig ram, 100 gig hard drive, 6800 geforce go ultra,

    also i run BF2 on high textures and geometry but everything else set to medium what do u run it at? oh and 1280 by 1024

    hay prowler: go to start, run, type in Dxdiag, when the screen comes up go to video and see what the driver details are for yur card. It should be like this but tell me exactly what it is incase i need to downgrade drivers. 1.224.710.76
