I want to take my crummy x1400 out and put in a new card. Do you guys know if this is even possible, will geek squad do it, and what the best card i could cram in there would be?

    Thanks!

yes it is possible i just recently did it on my e1705. I replaced my x1400 with a NVIDIA go 7900gs (with single heatsink, did really want to remove a piece of plastic from my case to put in the dual)

you dont need geek squad to do it, its not all that difficult, here is the guide that i used.

this might void your warranty though so be careful.

Nothing you can do, short of buying a new computer. Enjoy the e1505 for what is-a budget computer with decent performance.

Please see the GPU guide for more information.

I'm not going to tell you it's impossible, but it would require custom fabrication, new drivers/software and probably liquid cooling :D as well as the fact that it would not be a "laptop" anymore.
