Hi,
Im planning to buy the DELL Latitude D820 N notebook. Im impressed by its 4 hours battery time.
Intel T7200 processor, 2 GB RAM, WUXGA! etc
1) I have a basic question, is NVidia Quadro NVS 120M any good for games like Microsoft Flight Simulator X for resolutions like, 800x600 etc?
2) Since this card has been converted from Go 7400, and as did google search, found out that Quadros have additional functions, then why arent they any betetr in games?
3) Will a Quadro performance be better in Games than the performance of GeForce in CAD applications? I want to have a card which performs great in both fields. Again, as learnt, QUadro's have additional functions!
4) Can a QUADRO be easily converted to GeForce and vice versa? and wioll their performance, after conversion, be good enough in opposite fields? Like, will the Quadro, after conversion, perform better in games and competitve to other 256/512 MB cards......similarly will a GeForce be any better in CADs, after conversion? and equivalent to competitive QUADROs?
5) Budget will be around 2200 USD
Thanks!
Oh, and I am a programmer, developing websites and applications using Macromedia Flash tools, php etc, so you can udnerstand the needs of a programmer as it can't be a 14'' notebook, and the battery runtime is important as well!
Thanks again!
6) Also, how would NVS 120M compare to 135M and 140M in D830 and whats the battery uptime/ runtime of D830 ? I could find no review on D830![]()
7) And is D820 Santa Rosa based?!
Thanks!
