    What is the best place to download demos and where do are you supposed to extract them if the demo asks?

    You can extract them where you want (e.g. \Program files\).

    wow, just stick it somewhere its not like tits gonna be installed forever, why not put them in program files where everything else goes lol

    I find that the gamespot download program is relatively fast and its free as well1

    gamespot is good. I pay the annual fee which is small price to pay for fast downloads and ads free.

    I use the gamespot download program. I do have to pay a small fee each year... but you can't beat the 1.8GB Crysis demo downloading in less than 25 minutes.

    I like torrents for new demo releases, they are usually faster than the other free options to get a demo.

    fileplanet is good, i have a paid account, so u get uncapped speed and no waiting times, plus lots of times they give beta access to subscribers
