    Why won't any Demos install in my machine? There is always so error or another that exits the setup. Please help!

    Could you give us a screenshot of the error message? And which demos?

    I see you have Vista - try right-clicking the installer and "Run as Administrator".

    Here's the error I get with the FEAR demo:


    But the logo had the admin symbol next to it.

    either turn off User Account Control, or right-click on installer and choose Run As Admin...

    doesn't seem to be Vista issue...looks like you have downloaded a corrupted installer file...

    just to be sure, turn off your UAC and reboot... and install...
    if still get this error... sorry man, gotta re-download...

    I'll try it directly through FEAR's site...
    Bioshock demo didn't work either, when downloaded from Internet I got an error messege with no writting or anything what-so-ever. When I downloaded it through Steam, it loaded up, and the screen went Black. I had to Ctrl-Alt-Del out of it.

    i've also been having trouble with demos... half of the demos i download gets an error or something. I have halo, mario forever and gunbound right now. i dont have problems with them. When downloaded bf1942, it couldnt let me play it ,so i deleted it. dont know why it didnt work.
