    Demo works but game doesn"t

    (Just to tell you my graphics card is a intel gma 950) I purchased the pc game Joint Operations Typhoon Rising game and it said you need hardware t & l to play it. (In other words it didn't work and didn't start up) It didn't work so then I sold it back.Today I tried downloading the demo being as curious as I am and it actually worked. It said this computer doesn't support hardware t & l so therfore it will run slower. Should I go and buy the game again ?? What gives ??? Thanks in advance for all of the replies.

    Sometimes the retail versions of games have additional restrictions on what kind of hardware they will run on.

    I remember playing this demo ages back on a Radeon 8500 that has HW T&L, trouble is I had to forcefully disable it using 3D Analyze to stop the game crashing 2 seconds after startup!

    3D Analyze would probably get the game working for you.

    Many things are not available in demo. So you should go with the full version to enjoy all you can. Enjoyment Buffet.
