Hello all,
I am looking to get a notebook and am trying to find a decent one. I have no clue about them. I did find one that seems ok for me but not sure about one thing. I am looking to be able to play Age of Mythology on it, but I guess the notebook will need a certain kind of card. The one that I am looking at had a ATI Radeon™ Express 200M, is that any good? Will I be able to play Age of Mythology? Thanks

Welcome to notebookreview!
System Requirements
* Microsoft® Windows® 98/Me/XP/2000
* PC with 450 MHz equivalent or higher processor
* 128 MB of system RAM
* 1.5 GB available hard disk space
* 32x speed or faster CD-ROM drive
* 16 MB video card required
* Sound card, speakers or headphones required for audio
* Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
* 56.6 Kbps or better modem for online play
These are the system requirements for the game. Your notebook is much better then this. So the X200M is more then enough for this game.
Maybe you want to use the search button in the feature. There is a large topic about the X200M. You can maybe get better info there, because the users have their experience there.
Just a tip to keep the forum clean, no offence.

I just got off the phone with circuit city and they say that the notebook wont be good for that game....that it wont show shadows.....I dont know whether to believe them or that they are just trying to sell me a more expensive one

They are trying to sell you a more expensive one, i have a laptop with the 200m and i play games like half life 2 and battlefield 2 (which are far more graphics intensive than age of mythology) fine.
Here are the system requirements for battlefield 2:

# Windows XP (32 bit version) with Administrator rights
# 1.7 GHz or faster processor
# 512 MB or more RAM
# Supported 128 MB video card with the newest manufacturer drivers
# CD Version, 8x or faster CD/DVD drive
# DVD version, 8x or faster DVD drive
# 2.3 GB free hard disk space plus space for the Windows swap file and save data -

I agree with mtrivs there!
They are trying to sell you a more expensive notebook. If thats the only game you play, I can assure you it will run great!
