    Dear fellow forum members,
I am currently using an Acer Predator Helios 300 with an i7-7700HQ,GTX 1060 6GB and 8GB of RAM.
For some time now, I have been using ThrottleStop and to be honest, I am confused.
I am not talking about the undervolting, but the rest of the programs seem...not so clear.
I read the two guides that came with the program but:
1.The NotebookReview one seems a bit chaotic. There's no guidelines, only 1 picture and it looks like they just create and post it without any care or tuning. Like throwing all the information and updates in to it without editing and hopes that users can find their own way outta it.
2.On the other hand, the Notebookcheck post was carefully written and organized, which is a thing I expected from such reliable and quality website. But, they have to cut some corners. The corner is the amount of information. Other than the undervolting procedure and some explaination about the program, not much left. There are more things to tweak but they set them aside entirely.

So I am trying to look for is a balance of performance and heat for the first profile-Performance and the second-Battery is about the balance of battery life and performance.

I have tried like 3 times now and I am so desperate in the searching for such things.

Can anyone please give me a guide, a detailed one with proper guidelines or tips and tricks for doing these things?

    Anything is appreciated. Thanks beforehand.

Refer the guide hmscott linked you. For starters, look for max performance and settings so that the CPU won't throttle unless it hits PROCHOT of 97C and higher. After fair bit of tweaking your CPU, you will get a perfect idea to optimise for max performance and max battery life using TS.
Take one step at a time.
