    Out of the games they tested, the X1250 was overall about 20% faster than the GMA X3100


    So it seems that as of now AMD's beating Intel, but the performance gap is nowhere near as close as it was in the GMA900/950 days.

    It would have been nice if the 7150M had been thrown into the mix as well. I'm curious about this newest IGP from nVidia...........

    the nvidia IGP is faster than ATI in about 70% of the game tests, i saw the comparison but i forget the link, by 10-20% faster, but dont quote me on that, im sure someone saw that article and can link it

    In my previous post I linked to a comparison between the desktop Nvidia 7050 and the AMD x1250. The AMD chip seemed to be consistently faster than Nvidia's 7050.

    While the laptop equivalents may not preform exactly the same, I'd imagine that the overall result would be the same.

    It appears that was done on Vista w/ 15.6 drivers, so it really doesn't mean anything. They mentioned they'd be updating it with XP results, so that's something to look forward to.
