Maybe I built it up in my mind too much, or maybe I'm not far enough into it, but so far, I just think it's good, not great, not mind-blowing. I was really excited for the cyberpunk, morally-ambiguous world, and the cover-based-shooter-and-stealth gameplay, but it's just not as great as I had built it up to be in my mind. But for $10, you'd be a fool not to get it.

Ya, they've had them for a while, but never really had any deals that made them a preferred retailer to purchase from. Either way, since Deus Ex: HR is STEAMWORKS, the game has to be activated via STEAM no matter where you buy it from.

GMG is a legitimate game download store, and as others have mentioned, DE:HR is a Steamworks game, so it'll be attached to your account regardless of where you get it from.

I just got it for $16 on the Steam holiday sale...I've been enjoying the hell out of it so far. In my opinion, it's definitely a worthy successor to the original Deus Ex, which I had a lot of fun with years ago. I love the stealth and shooting mechanics...I've been using pretty much nothing but the 10mm handgun, with all of my weapon mods.

It's just that my German debit card doesn't work with them... And transfering money to PP takes 3 days...
