Deus Ex 3 Extended Trailer June 4th, 2010

Honestly, this looks like Ghost in the Shell, including the air crafts, the augmentations, the guns within arms... Knife in arm etc.
- Batou has a shotgun in his arm and there is an episode of an assassin the same
- The knife looks like another episode where a female agent has both a knife and gun augmented to her arm
- In the beginning of the trailer, that aircraft looks almost the same as ones used by Section 9 and other military forces.
- The way he hacks other people with neural augmentation, that's Motoko or Batou
- The eyes are similar to Batou's, but especially Saito's one eye.
- Invisibility just like GITS thermal optical camouflage.
- The robotics might as well be the think tanks in GITS.

A little dissapointing, a little more creativity be nice, since even the way the guns, knives appear from the arms look like GITS.

Even the plot. Seems to be some conspiracy with a corporation that has something to do with body augmentation and the conspiracy goes right up through the top of government with heavy military support
- If this doesn't sound familiar to you, then watch Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Corporation with conspiracy covered up by government going up through the top levels protected by an elite, "secret" military force who have unlimited budget using the most advanced robotics, camouflage and augmentations.

And just from some hints looks like it will delve into some philosophical issues relating to what is humanity
- Again if this doesn't sound familiar to you, watch any GITS, movies or series.

Might as well call this Ghost in the Shell: The Game. Playing as a female Motoko, world's best class A hacker, and overall single best military force would be more fun probably also

Cool, but the main character kinda looks like Steve Jobs.

 

I'd say more like Jon Fitch from the UFC

 

It has some good influence of japanese animation, especialy, like mentioned GitS.

The pics are awesome. I am happy Eidos/Ubisoft are finally taking back to project.

 

That city backdrop looks SOOOO much like Blade Runner.

Watch Ghost in the Shell: Innocence. That city is almost copy and pasted into Deus Ex.

 

It looks quite nice. The main character gives me a Commander Shepard meets Neo feel. If the game lives up to this trailer, it is a must for me.

The side picture looks like Obama to me, I wouldn't disagree with either people being on the poster. The irony of Obama defending war at a Nobel Peace ceremony is very fitting for that poster.

 

I doubt anyone is agreeing it is Obama in the picture... though I agree with your critique on his speech.

 

Looks quite cool imo. More of a movie setup than a video game however.
