Ok so when I try to open Diablo 2 LOD on my vista x64 laptop it starts a counter of sorts in the top left corner of my screen. It cycles through all the characters on the keyboard and when its done it finally starts the game.... Does anyone know how I can get rid of this crap?

It does it both in plain vista x64 and when running in compatibility mode for XP.

You need to run the Video Test. You can find it on the LoD CD, under More Options or something when the autorun window opens. I think you can also find it in the game folder.

Should Be Under Start>All Programs For The Video Test.
