Diablo 2, USWest ladder, anyone? Questions.

So, anyone on USWest have anything to spare? I just started playing again yesterday since 4+ years ago. I played when anni was first introduced.

Over a day i'm already lvl 84 but my stuff sucks lol. Anybody have easily obtainable items for my zealadin?

P.S. quite a bit has changed i'd say.

Hellfire torch, some runewords, the currency now hrs, and the bots... specially the bots.

So much SPAMMM in every game... Then when i hit hell baal runs, it turns out every game is a bot pwning everything... usually a hammerdin. I guess I can't complain that they help.... but they are also unfair. They reach the throne in like 20 seconds when the game starts...

Anyway, feel free to discuss and let me freeload of you lol.

Also, are socket items still worth stuff now?

I've found a 3 socket mage plate, 5 socket flail, 3 socket diadem superior (it got jacked though), and some other junk.

I've got some other small stuff... So if you have anything I can use, like lightsaber, gore treads or whatever... that would be cool. I'd trade for whatever I have that you need.

Are PGems, flawless gems, and chipped gems worth stuff? How about low lvl runes?

And if you do have friends, then shouldn't they have some stuff for you?

3 socket Mage Plate might be handy as a cheap option to slot an Enigma into. Duskshroud is probably better, but I think it might be harder to find, too. Gems and low runes aren't really worth very much. Keep some gems for transmuting the runes that you do find, I guess.

Oh, I play on Asia, so unfortunately can't trade with you...

 

Level 84 in a day is easy, friends or not. There is always a group that are starting new characters, and begging a rush is not too hard; you just often end up giving up your hellforge.

Enigma for a zealadin is just pointless. The only benefit is the +life + dr; which you can get from other items. If you don't have much gear, you should be able to beg some Griswold items. They're not exactly elite, but for a zealadin they are a good place to start.

I guess it depends on where you've spent your stats points too, as that's going to limit what we should suggest.

Low level runes are always worth keeping, as often people have all the hr they need, but are missing that cursed Lem, or Nef or whatever, and are willing to pay ist or um for it.

Pgems are not worth quite so much; but again people will pay one lower hr for a whole inventory full. But to do that you'd need to be trading all day, considering that the game is not as popular now as it once was.

That's why I quit it recently. It just takes so long to trade in comparison to before. There are much less bots now though, due to things Blizzard put in place; but there are shed loads of spam bots; which is the other reason I left.

all my stuff got erased because i stopped playing for 90 days lol. i dont really care tho because i cant sit and play the game anymore.

 

I got rushed some parts, and just went on questing on my own or with similar lvled people. Usually a high lvl arrived and rushed, nice of them.

I'm just wondering if the socket items I could trade for something...

As for stat allocation i put a hefty bit in str and just started stacking vita. 1 in dex, nothing in energy.

 

84 in 1 day? lol .

I used to play that game religiously, but I was stuck at level 92 for the longest time and never got any higher.

I was a Hammerdin with 11k hammers, which was pretty awesome. Never did reach the 12k, but I felt like I played that game out enough and so I quit.

All my items were deleted, including my decked out Hammerdin, which is a shame, but I'll just play Diablo 3 when that comes out.

i just came back to this game 2 months ago after playing for about 2 years nonstop when it first came out. i never got to 99 because when i was at 98 i contantly had lag death from my 56k dial up connection. i'm also finding that 92 is my breaking point right now and it's kind of pointless to level higher.

 

To be fair it's a kinda pointless game; but it does have the power to draw you into it.

I used to sell items on eBay, had 12 games on the go back when botting was good (3 computers, 4 games on each). Used to sell packs of an inventory full of good items for about £10, seeing that it only took me half an hour to mule, create the listing and deal with the sale. I think at my prime I was making about £200 a week and for the time I was spending it worked out about £40/hour. Not bad. Even started to employ other online friends to help with the botting.

Heh. Any of you guys interested in Sacred 2? I got bored of D2, so I'm gonna start taking that one up. Was considering Titan Quest Gold, especially since I can buy it for only around 13.76 USD. But then some friends of mine told me that it really wasn't a very engaging game, for some reason.

Now, if I can just wean myself off WoW... I knew trying that "10-day free trial" was a BIG MISTAKE.

 

I traded something for an soj once, and then it disappeared when I left the game... lol never traded for one again.

 

Lol, what server do you play on? I have 80s on Dark Iron. I havent played in 6 months, Im sure Ill start playing next month when Im back in the states. All my friends back home play it, so its a fun interactive way to keep in touch.

I started playing WoW, hmm... well, way back during the Open Beta. Bought it when it went gold, and so far at 60 I've played a Warrior, Warlock, Rogue, Priest, and Hunter.

Now I'm restarting in Blood Furnace as a BE Pally, because, well... everything is just so damn confusing. I can't very well play my level 60 chars now, because it's just too much confusion

 

haha yeah, its pretty confusing leaving it for awhile and coming back.

I remember the open beta. It was so cool that the characters could dance. lol I remember my little bro watching. Everquest didnt have all the things wow had and it just made it more fun.

I traded my SoJ for 3 hrs. Lox2 and ber... Ber disappeared.

 

Man, I SO can't wait for Diablo 3. Of all the games I've played, I've definitely enjoyed Diablo series the most. I enjoyed it even more than I enjoyed Final Fantasy 6, which I re-played and completed about 4 times.

 

What were your char's names in DI? I had a pally, Discobabe there, but I stopped playing a few months ago.
