    So, I hear about Diablo 3 announced on game informer not sure i didn't have the magazine.. anyways Graphics speaking, do you think blizz will toon it so everyone can play it like WoW or have a higher end.. o_O or DirectX 10?! or Better seeming as if true .. blizzard wouldn't come out with the game for like what another 4 years? Anyone else used to be a Diablo 2 addict back in the day?

    There is no way Diablo 3 would be announced via magazine , so I don't believe it.

    If you're jonesing for a Diablo 3, Hellgate: London comes out this week and that's pretty much the same thing, just in the future and playable as an FPS.

    Wait for an official announcement and ignore what the magazine claims. Until hard evidence of game requirements come from the horse's mouth it's a waste of time and effort speculating what kind of requirements the game will need (assuming it's already in development).

    I don't beive it until Blizzard announces it...
    And since they're working on StarCraft II, I doubt they'd announce another game at the same time.

    Blizzard would never announce through a magazine. They like to make events out of these things. They have so much spotlight on the WoW expansion and SC2 that there is no room for D3 yet. I'd say we will see an announcement after SC2 is released.

    Its only a monthly fee if you want added content like extra quests, levels equipment, etc. The single player content can be played online in typical diablo style (parties and what not) for free. Thats the story I got from PC-gamer, so I assume thats the situation. Therefore still plenty of online goodiness. And the best part is, the game is optimized like crap. On my old machine i can play near max setting (also no AA/AF) at 1280x800 and have quite smooth framerates. From what iv heard it isn't as good as the previous diablo titles, but still a great game. I believe the mag gave it an 8.5.

    id still play diablo 2 over hellgate, it plays too much like wow...

    well yeah and as i said prob like 4-5 years i'd say... jeez D3 would put out some $$ Hellgate looks cool but meh its not the same as meph Diablo and Baal .. i probly wont be getting HG:L but D3 rumors have been flying for a long time and for now prob stayin that way........ they will milk WotLK and SC2 first
