I want to start off by saying that every other game runs smooth and HIGH fps on ultra settings. But for the life of me I cannot figure out why Diablo 3 is 20fps or lower no matter what the settings are. Getting to be extremely annoying and Im wondering if anyone else has this issue and has found a fix for windows 7 since apparently the companies responsible are only looking for a windows 8.1 remedy. I have tried multiple drivers, config file settings, graphics options and even played around in compatibility mode to no avail. Anyone have insight on this common issue? System is the sager in my sig on windows 7 pro 64bit

Oh and btw its 100% optimus' fault. I have said it from day 1 of this tech that I HATE auto switching technology.

Diablo 3 is one of the few games that have problems with Optimus. Tons of people who have problems with it.
Strange if there doesnt exist a solution to it though.

This isn't a way to disable Optimus, so that you control which graphics card is in use?

Supposedly turning on vsync fixes it I think. Try that.

Yes, I had that problem with my D3 installation as well. Vertical sync fixed it.
